Frente a la vivienda tenemos una peña flamenca, claro, estamos en el barrio más flamenco de Jerez. Además de disfrutar de la importante gastronomía jerezana en la multitud de bares y tabancos, si llegamos cansados y nos apetece comer algo en "casa", a escasos metros de la vivienda nos encontramos una famosa freiduría de pescado, el típico "pescaito frito", para llevar, y también otros locales con comida preparada. La zona está bien comunicada con transporte público, aunque recomiendo visitar la ciudad andando, todo está relativamente cerca, y esas paraditas para una tapita con un vino jerezano en un tabanco, son obligatorias. Además andando está a unos 10 minutos de la Real Escuela Andaluza del Arte Ecuestre, a 15 minutos Plaza Toros y a 20 minutos del Parque González Hontoria donde se celebra la Feria de Jerez.
